Mr. X In Bombay (1964) : Mere Mehboob Qayamat Hogi | मेरे महबूब क़यामत होगी | Kishore Kumar

One Of The Best Ever Sad Songs Of Hindi Cinema. Even though this song was composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal,Kishore da gave his own style to it.Pyarelal-ji once said that "we developed this one in a soft and sad way,but he(Kishore) delivered it the way he wanted". Kishore da was a genius indeed. This song is indeed one of the best by Kishore Da. The older it gets, the more timeless it gets.

Mere Hamdam Mere Dost (1968) : Hui Shaam Unka Khayal Aa Gaya | हुई शाम उनका ख़याल | Mohammad Rafi

Thoroughly enchanting! It's an impossible task to choose one favourite Rafisaab song from the thousands he sung, but if I were marooned on a desert island with a solitary song in my possession, this is the ONE. Laxmikant-Pyarelal's composition and Majrooh Sultanpuri's lyrics in this song would pose an impossible challenge to any singer worth his salt!! But they had Rafi Saheb to glide through it with a silky smooth touch! Rafi ji makes it look the easiest song to sing!

The Beatles - Misery | Album - Please Please Me (1963)

This song was co-written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. According to Lennon, "It was kind of a John song more than a Paul song, but it was written together." McCartney was to say: "I don't think either one of us dominated on that one, it was just a hacking job." This was the debut album of the most famous band ever THE BEATLES.

Aandhi (1975) : Is Mod Se Jaate Hain | इस मोड़ से जाते हैं | Lata Mangeshkar | Kishore Kumar

Suchitra Sen has to be one of the most beautiful women ever on Indian Screen! She just had that class and dignity that matched her looks, which unfortunately is very rare today. Without any "jhatkas" (grooves) and overly expressive facial gestures, they are performing perfectly to the song. Sanjeev Kumar won the Filmfare Best Actor award of the year for this movie. We should also salute to Gulzar for having given some exceptional movies and excellent lyrics for songs. Evergreen!

Jagjit Singh & Chitra Singh : Jab Kabhi Tera Naam Lete Hain | जब कभी तेरा नाम लेते हैं | Album : Come Alive (1979)

Amazing ghazal by Dr. Sardar Anjum and beautiful rendition by most beautiful and sweet duo in Ghazal ever Jagjit & Chitra Singh. After Jagjit Singh ji demises I don't think anyone will ever be able to fill his spot. The voice of Chitra has no pretension and awakens emotions of all those who understand and enjoy good lyrics and voices like Jagjit and Chitraji.

Prem Pujari (1970) : Phoolon Ke Rang Se Dil Ki Kalam Se | फूलों के रंग से दिल की कलम से | Kishore Kumar

This evergreen song is a true masterpiece. Every word of Neeraj is extremely beautiful..The best ever lyrics ..and the best ever poetry one can write for a loved one and what a superb composition by S.D. Burman. Dev Anand priceless expression and Kishore da..what we can say about you.. you are really great..  the reason i say 'are' is that you will always be with us because of your voice..! Love You Always !!

Ronan Keating - When You Say Nothing At All | Album - Ronan (2000)

There is less chance of being misunderstood or having disagreements when we say nothing at all and leave it to our hearts to speak.."When You Say Nothing at All" is a country song written by Paul Overstreet and Don Schlitz. It is among the best-known hit songs for three different performers: Keith Whitley, who took it to the top of the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart on December 24, 1988; Alison Krauss, whose version became her first solo top-10 country hit in 1995; and Irish pop singer Ronan Keating, whose version was his first solo single and a chart-topper in the United Kingdom in 1999. (Source: Wikipedia) But I like the most this song when it comes in movie  Notting Hill, its really goes with the beautiful story of the film.

Patita (1953) : Yaad Kiya Dil Ne Kahan Ho Tum | याद किया दिल ने कहाँ हो तुम | Hemant Kumar | Lata Mangeshkar

Really a magnificent song with beautiful voices of Lata Mangeshkar and that very rich soft voice of Hemant Kumar.  I wonder who gave the music to this song; was it Shanker or Jaikishan? I certainly would like to know. It is said that immediately after signing the film, they used to divide the songs and then never interfered in each other’s compositions. Even after good seventy years the sweetness has not diminished.

Dev.D (2009) : Saali Khushi | साली ख़ुशी | Amit Trivedi

This movie was the modern-day take on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's classic Bengali novel Devdas. Each and every song of this movie so new and amazing that you can listen the whole album on repeat for days and won't get bored. No wonder that because Amit Trivedi won National Film Award for Best Music Direction for this movie. This was such a superb soundtrack a song for every type of emotion associated with love whether it's positive or negative and the casting was absolutely just perfect. NIKAAH (1982) : Dil Ki Yeh Aarzoo Thi Koi Dilruba Mile | दिल की ये आरजू थी कोई दिलरुबा मिले | Mahendra Kapoor | Salma Agha

The original name of this movie was Talaq Talaq Talaq, but was renamed Nikaah on the insistence of Islamic clerics. All the song were fabulous from this movie but this is one of my most favorite from this movie. Such songs will remain evergreen inside the heart of song lovers. Mahendra Kapoor is such a great singer whose pronunciation of these  Urdu words you can see is so amazing.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication | Album - Californication (1999)

The song is mainly about the dark side of Hollywood and the export of culture through the movie industry. The song begins "Psychic spies from China try to steal your mind's elation". Kiedis says in his book Scar Tissue that he got the inspiration for the line from hearing a woman on a New Zealand street ranting about "psychic spies in China". The track also makes references to topics such as pornography ("hardcore soft porn") and plastic surgery ("pay your surgeon very well to break the spell of aging") and even some pop culture references including Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain and David Bowie ("Cobain, can you hear the spheres singing songs off Station to Station?"), The Beach Boys ("They're just another Good Vibration"), Star Wars ("and Alderaan's not far away") and Star Trek ("Space may be the final frontier but it's made in a Hollywood basement").

Sarfarosh (1999) : Hoshwalon Ko Khabar Kya | होशवालों को खबर क्या | Jagjit Singh

This amazing amazing amazing Ghazal is from amazing amazing amazing actor Aamir Khan movie SARFAROSH (1999). The film was remade in Kannada as Sathyameva Jayathe with Devaraj and in Telugu as Astram with Vishnu Manchu. This Ghazal is one of the best Ghazal by Jagjit Singh ji. Seeing the blossoming love between the characters played by Aamir & Sonali in this movie.

Guru (2007) : Shauk Hai | शौक़ है | Sowmya Raoh

One of the most simplest and arguably one of the best songs that A.R.Rahman has composed ever. A perfect example of Beauty in Simplicity. Beautifully rendered by Sowmya Raoh. This is the favorite song of someone who is very very close to my heart. I still remember when she borrow my phone for a night to listen this song all night and then whole day humming this song non-stop. Share your views on this song. Enjoy.

Silsila (1981) : Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum | ये कहाँ आ गए हम | Lata Mangeshkar | Amitabh Bachchan

This was the last film to feature Rekha with Amitabh Bachchan, putting an end to this popular on-screen pair and their rumored off-screen affair, forever. But I Like this song because of beautiful rendition of poem by Amitabh Bachchan. Lyrics by Javed Akhtar is just steal the heart when you listen these amazing lines in voice of Amit Ji and Lata ji. Its obvious that Amitabh & Rekha has given beautiful expression to these beautiful words. Enjoy the song and share your views about the song in comment box. Thanks!

Padosan (1968) : Meri Pyari Bindu | मेरी प्यारी बिंदू | Kishore Kumar

While filming 'Meri Bindoo', the usual choreographer was not present. Kishore Kumar volunteered and the whole cast was briefed with the lyrics. He began dancing, mostly silly actions according to the lyrics and instructed rest to follow him. The following sequence is considered to be one of the most funny music videos in Indian Cinema. This was Mahmood Productions first film or as they chose to describe it in the credits, their "First Ambitious Motion Picture".

Owl City - Vanilla Twilight | Album - Ocean Eyes (2009)

This is song from Ocean Eyes album of one of my favorite band OWL City. If you don't know yet but if you notice he says Vanilla Twilight in this song only for just one time.
This is he kind of song that when I listen to it, It reflects on everything that's happened to me in the past, good and bad, and it just makes me smile. :)

Rockstar (2011) : Phir Se Udd Chala | फिर से उड़ चला | Mohit Chauhan

Perfect song for all time. This is a very unique and different song amongst all of the others because it has the influence of soft rock, electro-pop and a sort of traditional chorus in the very start and ending of the song. And the touch of Sufism in lyrics is just magnificent. This is the best ever connect of music, lyrics and picturization which not only rejuvenates and inspires but also teaches the dynamics of love and life. The integration of all the elements makes this song and also the movie truly heart touching. Thumbs up to all the people who are part of the team Rockstar!

Agnee : Shaam Tanha | Album - Agnee (2007)

This amazing track is from Agnee debute album named AGNEE. The singer of this song is Arijit Dutta and he also written these beautiful lyrics. The part Roothe Hai sung by band lead vocal Mohan Kannan. You might heard this song in movie Wake Up Sid in some pub scene. Although the whole song is extremely beautiful but in my opinion the line "Tere Jane Se Main Adhoora Rah Gaya' is the soul of this song which contains all the essense of this song. Seriously After Listening Such Songs It Feel Like that Love Is Still There Somewhere Around !! Awesome Track !!
