Linkin Park - What I've Done | Album - Minutes to Midnight (2007)

This is the song from Linkin Park third studio album Minutes to Midnight which was released in the year 2007.  The live version of "What I've Done" from Road to Revolution: Live at Milton Keynes was nominated for Best Hard Rock Performance at the 52nd Grammy Awards, but did not win. The video clip was featured and won on MTV's Battle of the Videos against videos by Evanescence ("Sweet Sacrifice") and Lil' Mama ("Lip Gloss").

Whenever i listen this song,i feel like something missing.......and I liked it. The beautiful rendition of emotions by Rekha Bharadwaj & Tochi Raina is simply amazing in this song and amazing lyrics of Amitabh Bhattacharya really sync with the story line of the movie. Awesome!

Earlier Hrishikesh Mukherjee had approached Lata Mangeshkar to work as a music director for this movie as she had already worked as a successful music director in Marathi movies under the pseudonym of "Anandghan". But she gracefully declined the offer and decided to sing for the film rather than composing it.

It was again remade into the Telugu film Pakkinti Ammayi (1981) starring Chandra Mohan, Jayasudha, S.P. Balasubrahmanyam and K. Chakravarthi.
