Travis - More Than Us | Good Feeling (1997)


This song known for being the song that influenced Travis's mainstream breakthrough. This track is simple and full of feelings. Most of Travis's song I found amazingly beautiful with lots and lots of feelings sink into them.

Fuzon - Aankhon Ke Sagar | आंखों के सागर | Shafqat Amanat Ali


This amazing track is one of my favourite. This band was formed in the year 2001 and the lead vocalist Shafqat Amanat Ali describe this band as a fusion of Pakistani classical music and modern rock music. Later on, Shafqat had to leave the band to concentrate more on his solo projects. He was replaced by Rameez Mukhtar.

Jagjit Singh & Chitra Singh - Bahut Pahale Se Un Qadmon Ki Aahat Jaan Lete Hain | बहुत पहले से उन कदमो की आहट जान लेते है | The Unforgettable (1976)

Jagjit Singh started his career by performing at weddings and private parties and singing jingles for advertisements. During the 1970s the ghazal considered a light classical form with its roots in the classical idiom was dominated by stellar names like Noorjehan Malika Pukhraj Begum Akhtar Talat Mehmood and Mehdi Hassan.

Jagjit Singh - Badla Na Apne Aap Ko Jo The Wahi Rahe | बदला ना अपने आपको जो थे वही रहे | Album - Insight (1994)

This amazing Ghazal has been written by very famous poet Nida Fazli who is known for putting his philosophy beautifully in his Ghazals. This album INSIGHT came out in the year 1994 and was a huge hit. The credit to make Ghazal this much popular among common people is goes to Jagjit Singh for choosing simple Ghazals and craft them amazingly with his soft music and magical voice.

Bryan Adams - Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman? | Album - 18 Till Die (1996)

This song is recorded by Bryan Adams for the film Don Juan DeMarco and written by Bryan Adams, Michael Kamen and Robert John "Mutt" Lange. This music video later released with the album 18 Till Die. This music video feature famous flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucia. This song was nominated for Oscar in Best Song category and was at number one for five weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States

Blue - Best in Me | Album - All Rise (2001)

This amazing song is from the debut album All Rise (2001) of this English boy band BLUE. The song was written by Jem Godfrey, Bill Padley. When the song became a hit A music video was recorded and was later used to promote the group's compilation album, Best of Blue.

Highway (2014) - Patakha Guddi (Male Version) | पटाखा गुड्डी | A. R. Rahman

This male version of this song is also amazing as its female version in voice of Nooran Sisters. This male version is amalgamation of various music like rock, folk, sufi etc. A. R. Rahman has done his job so beautifully that you just fall in love with each and every track of this movie. Lyrics of Irshad Kamil is also playing in important role in popularity of this track as his metaphor of Peepal tree to leading lady character of the movie is just amazingly sync with the story that you just fall in love with this track.

Rockstar (2011) - Jo Bhi Main Kehna Chahoo | जो भी मैं कहना चाहूँ | Mohit Chauhan

Don't know what to say about this amazing song. Feelings, emotions and Philosophy by lyricist Irshad Kamil just touch your heart and start feeling like this song is for you or about you. Music of A.R.Rahman is just fabulous as always and singing of Mohit Chauhan is the limelight of this song and all other songs of this movie. 

Lootera (2013) - Monta Re | मोन्टा रे | Swanand Kirkire | Amitabh Bhattacharya


Its very rarely happens that one lyricist sings song for another lyricist. This beautiful gem from movie Lootera is created by Amit Trivedi and written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and sung by Swanand Kirkire and Amitabh himself. 'Kemon Boka Monta Re' is Bengali language line beautifully used by lyricist in this song. 'Kemon' means HOW and 'Boka' means STUPID, 'Mon' means HEART. So it's overall meaning is  'what an idiot the heart is'.

The Police - Every Breath You Take | Album - Synchronicity (1983)


This famous song of 80's has been written by lead singer of this band Sting. This was the biggest hit of 1983. At the 26th Annual Grammy Awards the song was nominated for three Grammy Awards including Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. Sting won Song of the Year while The Police won Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals; however, it did not win Record of the Year.

Pink Floyd - Coming Back to Life | Album - The Division Bell (1994)


This beautiful track is from the album The Division Bell (1994) and is solely credited to David Gilmour who is guitarist and co-lead vocalist in Pink Floyd. David has written this song for his wife Polly Samson.

This lovely song is in voice of very talented singer of our time K.K. Lyrics of this song has been written by Vishal Dadlani who is also music director of this film along with his partner Shekhar. I believe the amazing singing by K.K. makes this song memorable and the cute incident shown in video also makes it beautiful.

This movie was an unofficial remake of the 1934 Hollywood film It Happened One Night, Which was already adapted by Raj Kapoor in movie name Chori Chori (1956). Music of this movie was huge hit helped Music Directors duo Nadeem - Shravan to establish in film industry. Later, this combination of Kumar Sanu, Sameer & Nadeem- Shravan has given so many hit popular songs in 90's.

Dor (2006) - Yeh Honsla Kaise Jhuke | ये हौंसला कैसे झुके | Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan

This amazing and motivational song is from beautiful movie Dor which was released in 2006. Lyrics by Mir Ali Hussain amazingly synced with the story of this movie and music by Salim Suleman made this song a memorable one. Not to mention soulful voice of Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan is the reason for popularity of this song because each line of this song he recite with convincing feelings.
