This unforgettable ghazal has been written by well known poet Qateel Shifai. Sometimes I feel that Jagjit Singh taught us see the beauty in suffering of love. Its true that poet has written those words but voice of Jagjit ji gives a new meaning to those words and you feel like connected to those words unknowingly. Magical !

Oasis - Let There Be Love | Album - Don't Believe the Truth (2005)

“Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up.”

Umrao Jaan (1981) - Yeh Kya Jagah Hai Doston | ये क्या जगह है दोस्तो | Asha Bhosle

The music composition, the slower dance movement diverting Rekha's attention to her long lost home indicate the intelligence of Khayyam, Asha Bhosle, Rekha and Muzaffar Ali (Director of this movie). The old lady here who played Umraao Jaan's mother is Farrukh Jaffer, who also played the role of Nattha's mother in Peepli Live.

Jagjit Singh & Chitra Singh - Kiya Hai Pyaar Jise Humne Zindgi Ki Tarah | किया है प्यार जिसे हमने ज़िन्दगी की तरह | Album - Best of Jagjit Singh Chitra

Maroon 5 - Won't Go Home Without You | Album - It Won't Be Soon Before Long (2007)

This song is from third album of the band It Won't Be Soon Before Long (2007). The guitar undertone in the song is based on the The Police single, "Every Breath You Take", which makes the moment at the end of the music video where Levine is watching the female character somewhat coincidental.

Door Gagan Ki Chhaon Mein (1964) - Aa Chal Ke Tujhe Main Leke Chalun | आ चल के तुझे मैं लेके चलूँ | Kishore Kumar

Kishore Kumar has very successfully shown his serious side in this movie. He produced and directed this film. He wrote the script and composed music for the film, which is about the relationship between a father (Kishore Kumar) and his deaf and mute son (played by his real-life son (Amit Kumar). Kishore Da in this song described the world which everyone wants to have, but no one is able to attain.....But some imaginations are tremendous and gives us immense peace.

This famous Ghazal of Pankaj Udhas first came into a movie name Ek Hi Maqsad (1988) but most of us knows it for its later version with this beautiful music video. I also prefer the later version as its more melodious and romantic and I always like watching this sweet video.

Joggers' Park (2003) - Badi Nazuk Hai Ye Manzil | बडी नाज़ुक है ये मंज़िल | Jagjit Singh

This magical Ghazal is from this beautiful movie Joggers's Park (2003). In movie an elder guy falls in love with a girl who is very younger to him. when you are in true love you don't know the destination and its the path you take which decides what the destination will be. that path is fragile where the happiness makes you weak and the sadness just makes you stronger with that right person everything seems beautiful.

This beautiful song is from American Band LIFEHOUSE from their debut album name No Name Face (2000). This song was written by lead singer Jason Wade. This is signature song of the band and despite not going to number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, "Hanging" still finished as the top song on the chart for the year 2001. It also became the most played radio track of that year in the United States.

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan - Aafreen Aafreen | Album - Sangam (1996)

This song made by Music company SAREGAMA as a symbol of love between India & Pakistan. Javed Akhtar has captured beauty of a women so beautifully like he has done it before in song Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga from movie 1942 A Love Story. I don't think I need to comment about the singing or the singer for that matter as his name already starts with "Ustaad" so it will useless to comment on his singing because we already know its FABULOUS.
