In an interview Pritam shared a funny incident about this song. Being a singer from Bangladesh, James is not fluent with Hindi so while recording this song he was very nervous and was making mistakes. So, music director Pritam decided to do some fun and mixed some alcohol in James' drink and the magic is in front of you. This song was an instant hit. :)

I heard it little later though but since then its in my playlist and just love this song. In 2014 the song was nominated for the Brit Award for British Single of the Year, and won Passenger the British Academy's Ivor Novello Award for Most Performed Work
